I’m Alexa, an impulsive, easily-excitable, twenty-something, wanderer and yogi, who enjoys bottomless Netflix marathons, bad music from the early millennium, aimless road trips through the countryside, and the perpetual planning (daydreaming for hours on end) of my next trip!
I suffer from a severe case of the travel bug, which must have crawled its way into my luggage sometime in between traveling to Costa Rica for a month or my semester abroad in Paris. However it may be, I caught it and it’s here to stay.
After graduating from six long years of undergraduate studies while working full-time, I was burnt out and looking for a major change in my life. To combine work with my passion and eagerness to travel, I sought out opportunities to work abroad.
I am now living in Boseong, South Korea (a tiny, rural town) as a Native English Speaking Teacher, working in 4 public schools with the Jeollanamdo Language Program.
Follow me as I learn to adapt, live and travel in South Korea, while visiting other destinations along my journey!
